Ferry Information / Supplements
All prices include a Dover/Calais ferry crossing for a standard height/length car and up to 5 people.
SEAFRANCE and P & O FERRIES are our preferred travel partners for the short sea crossing with
frequent sailings every day and night.  Crossing time approx 75 mins.
Calais routes you may request an up-grade to “Club-Class” for a small supplement.  Prices on request
 

BRITTANY FERRIES take you right into the heart of Normandy in 4.5 to 6 hours by ferry or, from April to October the fastcraft takes only 2.5 to 3.5 hours.  Example of routes and times:

Portsmouth Caen 08:15 14:45 22:45  fastcraft 07:00   Return 08:30 16:30 23:00 fastcraft 12:15
Portsmouth Cherbourg: fastcraft 15:30Return20:15.  Poole Cherbourg fastcraft 07:15   Return 11:15
Portsmouth to St Malo 20:30.  Return 10:30
Additional prices for these longer crossings depend on route, time of travel and when the reservation is made. Please ask for quotation and expect to pay a ferry supplement from approx. £60 each way in low and mid season and from £100 each way in peak season.  Routes are interchangeable.
Cabins and reclining seats for day and night crossings may be reserved on the Brittany Ferries routes.
EuroTunnel supplement depending on day and time of travel and when the reservation is made. Please ask for quotation
SPRINGBANK HOLIDAY:
We do not increase our gite prices at Springbank holiday but peak season prices are charged by the cross channel operators.  Therefore, any crossing taken 1st 2nd June and/or 9th 10th June.
add £25 each way to your price.
VEHICLE SUPPLEMENTS  apply with some operators for car
Height over 1.83m incl. roof load.  Length over 5m.  Rear cycle carrier
